TVS recently launched a new category on their list i.e. sports. It launched Apache RR 310 as a complete sports bike. TVS Apache RR 310 is also known as Akula 310. Akula possess all the features that a sport bike should have. The aerodynamics of this bike is made in such a way that it makes Akula perfect in the race track. Akula 310 has been positioned as an everyday, entry-level sport bike, which has a visually tall windscreen, and the dual-LED projector headlamps give Akula 310 a distinctive look. It has a 310cc engine which provides maximum power of 33.6 BHP @ 9500 rpm. It also provides a great torque of 28 NM @ 7500 rpm. The expected mileage of the TVS Apache RR 310 is around 25 to 30 Kmpl.
Even the suspension of the Apache RR 310 is top notch. With the presence of the 41 mm, inverted cartridge front fork of Kayaba with a classic gold finish –this adds a premium look to the overall look & feel of the bike. The rear monoshock from Kayaba is amazing as well as the suspension, swingarm, and the chassis –all work together in a seamless manner for giving the bike superior performance & handling. Its racing looks makes it a heavy bike weighing 130 kg. The bike rides on Michelin Pilot Street tyres and is available in two shades – red and matte black. The motorcycle competes against the RE Classic 350, Bajaj Dominar 400, Yamaha YZF R3 and the Kawasaki Ninja 300 in its segment.
